This focus on data and analytics helps them to understand their risks and prioritize efforts. The company identifies the need of a strong cultural foundation for the overall growth of the business. As per the reports, the senior management of the company has been working tirelessly to make a difference along with the Audit Committee of Wal-Marts Board of Directors to identify high-priority projects to move the program forward. Early in 2016, the company identified 40 high priority objectives and set out to achieve them. The information collected over the years are the basis of these objectives, and the company also conducts various risks assessments in their retail sites to identify whether the company is able to meet the demands of the compliances. This concentration on data and analytics helps them to appreciate their risks and arrange efforts. As in past years, the Boards Reimbursement, Suggesting and Supremacy Group (the CNGC) trained a percentage of the reimbursement for the corporations most high-ranking managers on representative satisfactory development in attaining the Objectives. Beneath the misunderstanding of the Audit Group and CNGC, the corporation allocated responsibility for all of the Objectives to one or more members of our senior executive team, as per the Global Responsibility report of the company. The senior management keeps a tab on the activities of the audit committee and by the end of 2016; the audit committee was successful in achieving the set objectives. The company has set out other broad categories like it is against corruption and is trying to take a positive approach to remove it. The company has been keeping major focus on increasing the overall customer experience through food safety and quality ("Global Responsibility Report", 2016). As per the Companies report on ethical standards, the company has been successful in effectively merging the objectives of corporate responsibility in the financials statements. The company follows a policy of open door communication policy, We maintain a global ethics and compliance office which oversees and administers several reporting mechanisms, including an ethics helpline. The ethics helpline provides a channel for associates to make confidential and anonymous complaints regarding potential violations of our statements of ethics, including violations related to financial or accounting matters. as per the annual report of the company (Anon, 2016). The company has been working tirelessly in improving the economic conditions of the women in the society, and promoting the growth of suppliers, local manufacturing and small businesses. The company focuses on enhancing resilience in the face of disaster and also developing communities through associate, customer and company engagement and various other procedures. Conclusion: The company has very well complied with the norms of corporate social responsibility, and focused on the overall growth and development of the company keeping the environment it operates in as a priority. The company through its global efforts has been successful in providing the stakeholders that ranges from the customers to the shareholders, providing them with the best report for their services.
